Description

April 24-25, 2026

First held in 1969, Holland Happening is one of Oak Harbor’s longest-running and most beloved festivals, celebrating the community’s Dutch heritage and the diverse cultures that make the city unique today.

The weekend begins with a traditional Dutch dinner at the First Reformed Church on Friday, followed by Saturday’s waterfront parade at 11am. After the parade, head to Windjammer Park for a lively street fair featuring approximately 70 vendors, live music, a beer garden, the Klompen Canal wooden shoe races, a European Super Slide, and traditional wooden shoe carving demonstrations.

Festivities continue Sunday alongside the renowned Whidbey Island Marathon, offering a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, and kids 1K. For details, visit www.oakharborchamber.com.
